Unfortunately some times trees and shrubs must be removed. We like to feel that this is a last resort, some can be transplanted or pruned and not removed. Something that has died or is in decline can be hazardous and in need of removal. Other reasons can be an addition to the house, let sunlight on the yard or thin out a stand of trees can be a few. GBK has the experience and trained personnel to surgically remove andy size job no matter what the location to insure the surroundings not get damaged. All that will be left is a stump and the wood if you want it.

|
Stumps can be a nuisance for lawn mowers or children playing in the yard. A stump can be removed in 2 ways. It can be ground into wood chips usually 8-12 inches below the surrounding grade. This will allow for grass or small flowers and mulch to be put in its place. If the desire is to plant another tree, the stump will need to be dug out and pulled with heavy machinery. This will allow for another plant to be installed back in the same location.
